BLENDED OIL PACKAGING 1L


Role: Lead

Brief:

To redesign packaging for 1ltr Blended oil with the following features and attributes:

  • Product Positioning: For the premium segment, should depict overall health & Metabolism (overall weight management, diabetic control, heart health), low fat, and healthy oil.

  • Structural requirements:

    • It should provide at least 9-month shelf life

    • Should look differentiated on the shelf

    • Should have some value add features (ergonomics) in terms of ease of use, avoid spillage or pouring, etc.

    • Oil sensitive to light & moisture & oxygen, 29/21 CTC neck

    • Should fit into shelf across different retail outlets

  • Target Consumer: 28-38 years old married women, should be health conscious & is looking for healthy alternatives, key decision-maker and most likely the purchaser of health oil, should be a user of blended health oils such as Oleev Active, Saffola Gold, Canola oil.

  • Branding: should have larger branding space, should have a sticker or shrink sleeve label, should depict healthy and low fat oil.

OVERVIEW

The inspiration for the form is derived from the flowy nature of oil. The wave-shaped shoulder makes it look dynamic in nature and creates interesting reflection and patterns when viewed from different angles. The delusion makes the bottle look lighter and flowy.

PARTS & DETAILS

The transition from circle to ellipse gives the bottle a curvy and sleek look. The slenderness of the bottle will help the user to hold the bottle comfortably.

The surfaces of the bottle are clean and smooth, thus making it look premium
